Things you need to know

Standard leads and pre-made collars may be returned or exchanged unused within 7 days of purchase. Please email us hello@canicheandco.com for return postal details.

Our custom made collars cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.

If there is a defect with the design of your collar or lead, please contact us within 7 days of receipt of item.

Upon purchase of a custom collar, we will work with you to choose colours and ensure correct sizing for your dog.

We will endeavour to create the closest finished product to the collar or lead that you've envisioned, but due to the recycled nature of our leather, it's rare to find two pieces the same, and will most likely come with small flaws from their previous life - which we think adds character.

Please bear in mind that brown and tan colours are extremely varied and we will not deviate from our recycled leather policy. Sometimes it may not be the exact colour you've seen or desire, however we will do our best to find something suitable - it may just take time.

The Jax double leather collar in particular can be difficult to match in tan and brown - more often than not it will be a two toned piece - due to the extra width required.

The utmost care is taken to package and send your purchase with a reputable carrier, however we cannot be held responsible for parcels lost in the post. Please let us know if you would like to purchase extra cover.

Your leather collar will naturally require love and care to keep it in the best possible condition. It is a natural material, not man made waste, and as such will require cleaning and feeding - we recommend saddle soap, followed by Dubbin or saddle oil.

All Canche & Co products are sold on the basis of responsible pet ownership and care. Please take care to fit your dog collar with enough room - we recommend at least three fingers between the neck and collar.

We cannot be held responsible for breakages over time due to dogs who are extreme pullers.

Strangulation is a hazard. Never leave a dog who is unattended collared, especially in a confined space such as a crate.
